Combine Two Faces Into One In Photoshop

Editing images to make them more appealing to the eye is something we all think about when we imagine Photoshop. More than that, we can actually make new people - people that don't actually exist (or so we think).

In this tutorial you'll follow my pictures to combine two well-known actors into one.

1)

Import this image of Bruce Willis and this one of George Clooney into Photoshop.

We'll first select Willis' face using the 'Lasso Tool' (L).

Then, copy/paste it over Clooney.

Use the 'Move Tool' (V) to adjust it's position. Also, decrease the 'Opacity' setting to help line up the facial features. I suggest getting a hold of a corner of the box of Willis (with opacity down a bit) to properly line up the eyes, nose and mouth.

Change the opacity back to 100%

Choose the 'Eraser Tool' (E), change it's opacity, and begin to erase around the mouth, cheeks, and eyes to better blend the faces.

Change the eraser opacity to whatever is needed to perform the light erasing of Willis and feel free to continually move his face as needed using the 'Move Tool' to make sure it looks correct.

Willis' face appears to be a bit lighter in color than Clooney's. 

With 'Layer 1' still selected, go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation.

I increased this toggle for Saturation to 12.

Some of these settings above could easily be altered as you desire to end with a better result.
