Using The Tools (Move, Marcquee, Color Picker & Brush)

Move Tool:

Used to move objects around.

Rectangular Marcquee Tool:

Used to select portions of the screen for editing.

Color Picker:

Used to simply select a color for use in editing.

Tools Overview (First 6)

You'll be editing every photo with tools from the menu called 'Tools' shown on the left side of the screen by default.

Note: Navigate to Window > Tools if the menu is not currently shown.



First six tools in the menu:

Move (V) - to move images around.
Marcquee Tool (M) (currently selected) - to select objects and free space.
Lasso Tool (L) - select a more specific space.
Magic Wand Tool (W) - to select space with similar color.
Crop Tool (C) - to cut (crop out) space.
Eyedropper Tool (I) - to select a color found in an image.
