Opening An Image

Before you begin editing you'll need to import your photo(s) into the Photoshop program.

Method 1 of 2 - File/Open

File > Open

Choose the image you want and click 'Open'

Method 2 of 2 - Copy/Paste


1)
Find an image (like this one) and right-click > copy it.

In Photoshop, choose File > New and ensure the "Preset" option says "Clipboard" and then click OK.

3)
Choose Edit > Paste or click the key combination Ctrl + V

Choose one of these options to place an image, as they both work the same in the end.
